Mini Catalizador O2 Sensor Spacer CEL FIX P0420/P0042/P0430 Code Universal (90 Degree)
I bought this with very little faith it worked but I will definitely admit I was very wrong. I installed it on my 1999 Toyota Avalon and I didn't clear the CEL just to see if the Catalizador would allow the catalyst test to pass. And it did. A couple weeks ago now and so far no light. I had a bit of an issue with installation but it was a wire length issue more than anything. The 90° fit perfectly but the spacing was an issue due to the short downstream O2 sensor wires. I had to do some adapting to get everything to fit in the factory spot. It works perfectly so far. No complaints about fit or function. It does what it says it does. I just hope it lasts a long time. I will be buying again for sure. Great product!
Well I bought two 90* and two straight Mini Catalizadors, a straight on drivers side and a 90* on passenger side. and yes they fixed my P0420/P0430 codes. But then I got a P0137 so even though I had another 90* I ordered 4-45*s and put a 45* in place of the straight, After 50 miles no codes. Excellent!
Even after putting in a catalytic converter, I couldn't get my engine light to go away for a catalytic converter efficiency, and this fixed it
Even with 90 degree catalizador I had to do a little prying and bending of the down pipe bottom mount tabs. Nothing major. Left down pipe in place and just used a pry bar to get a little extra room to screw in catalizador. It got rid of the P0420 code, cat efficiency, just like it says. But…..now there’s a new code, P0421, takes two long to heat up. I’m thinking if I used the straight catalizador it would heat up faster and not throw the new code. But my hole for the cat is in a place that would than bring the transmission case into play. The O2 sensor won’t go in because it sticks out too far and hits the trans case. Overall I think this helps even out short and long term fuel trim and downstream O2 sensor readings for the downstream O2 sensor once it heats up and engine is running at constant rpm’s. When it’s accelerating or you’re on and off the gas, stop and go traffic, sensor readings are all over the place and eventually engine will throw O2 sensor inconsistency readings error. So if not too long to heat up engine code eventually inconsistency readings engine code. So still thinking over what solution for none mini main cat replacement issue with P0420 cat efficiency error code. But the device did what it said it would do, no more P0420.

2011 mini cooper. 1.6 non-turbo. I had no drive-ability issues, just a pesky 0420 code. Thought this might fix it, it didnt. Quality and fit of part was very good though.
I did a Cat delete on my 2007 Nissan Sentra , so the P0420 code came on. I found this product and the engine light has been off for a Month now.
Put them in eliminated the code and gain fuel mileage
